Well, someones been busy!
Hi fellow crafters, Mary here with an update on my crafty corner in rainy Staffordshire.
Today I have been busy finishing off some Christmas cards - yes I know - the C word - and the kids haven't even gone back school yet! But in the crafting world we have to start planning our Christmas cards around this time so we are not in a mad rush in December.
I have yet to photograph them yet so thought I would post pictures of cards I made last year.

This card is so cute! I started by matting a piece of blue glitter cardstock to a 7x5 landscape card blank. Then I layered a piece of silver mirri card cut 1cm smaller on all sides onto this. Then I layered the patterned paper onto this. I added the sentiment and the blue twine for dimension. The card says it all and did not need anything extra putting onto it.

This next card shows Santa and 2 reindeers busy delivering presents.

This card is a 7x5 portrait card. I started my layering a piece of Hunkydory tartan cardstock to the card blank and then layered 2 pieces on either side to add interest. I then used an oval die to cut a piece of Hunkydory blue tartan cardstock and layered the die-cut topper of Santan and his helpers using foam pads to add dimension. I chose to put this at an angle, its much easier to put things on an angle instead perfectly straight, I finished off with the sentiment.
Thats all for today, happy crafting
